Sep 30, 2011 > Women
Patients occasionally experience pain or skin surface, either in the low abdominal area or on the vulva. This comfort is usually due to herpes if one the vulva or to shingles (herpes zoster) if one the low abdomen or vulva. Pain from these two problems is usually not difficult to diagnose and is not usually confused with the pelvic pain we will discuss in the next from question. Obviously, other skin problem can cause discomfort in the vulva area if the gynecologic is not sure what the problem is.
What causes low abdominal and pelvic pain?
Low abdominal and pelvic is problem for both patients and their doctors. It is not only difficult to diagnose, but it can also be just as difficult to treat. Many well qualified physicians believe that 50 percent of the pelvic pain that women experience is not due to physical abnormalities. The implication is that the pain is often psychological in origin. Although I do not doubt that same pelvic pain is due to emotions, my experience has beet that this is uncommon.
When pain is caused by emotion, the emotions after cause true physical pain that can be treat 9surh as irritable colon). When the physical pain is alleviated, a woman’s emotional problem can be evaluated and treated more easily. If a patient and her doctor purpose pain evaluation, the cause can almost always be found and treated. Some physical causes of this type of pain are discussed in the following question.
Aneurysm Symptoms and Treatment An aneurysm is a bulge in a blood vessel, usually an artery, due to a weakness in the vessel wall, particularly in the elastic, muscular middle layer of the artery wall. An artery has three layers: the intima, which is the smooth inner layer; the media, or middle layer; and the adventitia, which is the tough outer layer. A true aneurysm involves all three layers, whereas a false aneurysm is a disruption or clot in one or two of the layers, causing a bulge in the vessel. A dissecting aneurysm occurs when blood separates the layers, thereby creating an extra channel, sometimes extending the full length of the artery, through which blood flow is diverted from the organs or tissues served by the blood vessel. This dangerous condition can develop in a matter of hours a day.
The main danger of most untreated aneurysm is that they may rupture, causing death due to loss of blood. Even if death does not occur, blood loss may so decrease blood flow to the heart that it cannot work properly.
Parkinsons disease treatment guidelines Excitement and tension can cause these symptoms to worsen, as can depression. Depression common among Parkinson’s disease victims, who are understandably upset by their loss of muscle control.
Parkinsons disease Diagnosis
Diagnostic evaluation involves a history, physical examination, and observation of the symptoms. If tremors are the only symptom displayed, tests may be done to rule out the possibility that other disorders are causing the tremors, such as liver disease, multiple sclerosis, chronic alcoholism, or over activity of the thyroid gland.
What are Water Functions Next to air, water is the substances most necessary for survival. Most everything in the body occurs in a water medium. Although people can live without vitamins and minerals for extended periods, death result within a few day without water.
Water makes up about 60% of the body's weight. Every cell in the body is bathed in water of the exact composition that is best for it. Even tissues that are not thought of as "watery" contain large amounts of water. Fo example, water makes up about 75% of brain and muscle tissues; bone tissue and fat tissue are about 20% water. As a lee the bodies of women. Men have more muscle tissue, and muscle tissue holds more water that fat tissue, which is more prominent in the bodies of women.
Holoprosencephaly prognosis and pictures What is Holoprosencephaly definition? Holoprosencephaly (HPE, once known as arhinencephaly) is a cephalic disorder in which the prosencephalon (the forebrain of the embryo) fails to develop into two hemispheres. Normally, the forebrain is formed and the face begins to develop in the fifth and sixth weeks of human pregnancy. Hox genes, which guide placement of embryonic structures, fail to activate along the midline of the head, allowing structures that are normally paired on the left and right to merge. The condition also occurs in other species, as with Cy, the Cyclops kitten.
The condition can be mild or severe. According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), "in most cases of holoprosencephaly, the malformations are so severe that babies die before birth.

Family Health Nursing “Family health nursing is the practice of nursing directed towards maximizing the health and well-being of all individuals within a family system. It incorporates two views of family; family as a unit of care and family as a system existing within larger system. Levels of intervention are individuals the personal, the family system, and the environmental level. The goals of the family health nursing include optimal functioning for the individual and for the family as a unit.”
The family as a unit of care means that the entire family is the recipient of nursing intervention. This view point recognizes the mandate in the standards of community health nursing’s practice that identifies clients as individuals, families and communities. In contrast, the family as context recognizes the impact the family has on an individual. This viewpoint underscores the need to understand the family environment in which the individual exists.

Physical Allergy Some persons, when exposed to changes in temperature such as cold or heat or when exposed to sudden effort or sunlight, may develop manifestation, such as asthma, hay fever, or hives. In these instances the cold or heat acts as an antigen, much the same as milk or pollen may produce allergy. The demonstration of the presence of such sensitivity requires special tests. In the case of a patient sensitive to cold one tests the patient by attaching a small tube containing ice water to the skin of the arm. The tube is held in place with adhesive. Sensitivity to cold is determined by the appearance of large welt or hive at the point of contact. A similar of allergy are also included those patients who when exposed to a draft or a cod breeze develop nasal symptoms followed by severe so-called sinus headaches.
Beta carotene foods and benefits (provitamin A) Vitamin A comes in several forms, such as preformed retinoids found in animal products that are ready for use by the body and carotenoids found in plants. Carotenoids are called provitamin A because they must first be converted to the retinoid form if they are to be used for vitamin A functions. More than 600 carotenoids are found in nature; 50 of them have potential vitamin A activity. The most potent form is beta-carotene. The retinoids and carotenoids combine to form what is generally referred to as vitamin A.
Leukemia Symptoms and Therapy Leukemia is cancer of blood-forming tissue, including the lymph system and bone marrow. Because leukemia involves blood cells circulation through the body rather than a fixed mass of tissue, leukemia is sometimes not considered a true cancer. However, leukemia cells, when studied under a microscope and in cell cultures, behave like cancer cells found in tumors.
There are at least ten different kinds of blood cells that have been identified with various forms of the disease, which is why if frequently is referred to as leukemia. In addition, there are both acute and chronic forms of leukemia, such as acute granulocytic leukemia and chronic lymphatic leukemia, named after the particular kind of white blood cells that are most affected.
Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms Multiple sclerosis is characterized by recurrent or chronically progressive neurologic dysfunction caused by lesions in the CNS. The CNS lesions are characterized by multiple areas of demyelination in the CNS. The brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord may be affected.
Causes of Migraine Headache and Symptoms Migraine affects 15% to 17% of women and 6% of men. Headaches can generally
be grouped into three major categories: migraine, tension-type, and organic.
Migraine headaches are usually unilateral, and the acute attack typically

an aura. The aura may consist of focal neurologic symptoms starting 5 to 30
minutes before onset of an acute headache attack.
