Blood type diet chart and list

Sep 03, 2011 > Diet
Are you looking for blood type diet chart? The blood type diet is a diet advocated by Peter D'Adamo, a naturopathic physician, and outlined in his book Eat Right 4 Your Type. D'Adamo's claim is that ABO blood type is the most important factor in determining a healthy diet, and he promotes distinct diets for people with O, A, B, and AB blood types.

One criticism of D'Adamo's hypotheses and recommendations claims that he provided inadequate evidence. For example, his first book, Eat Right 4 Your Type, published in 1997, contains only a bibliography. While his subsequent books have provided thorough references for the classifications of various foods within his categories of "beneficials", "neutrals" and "avoids", his specific process and reasons for reaching these conclusions of classification remain undocumented.

Your blood type diet works because you are able to follow a clear, logical, scientifically researched plan based on your cellular profile. Each food groups are divided into three categories: Highly beneficial ( food that acts like Medicine), Foods allowed (food that are no harm to the blood type) and Foods not allowed (food that acts like a Poison)

If you're blood type O ("for old," as in humanity's oldest blood line) your digestive tract retains the memory of ancient times, says D'Adamo, so you're metabolism will benefit from lean meats, poultry, and fish. You're advised to restrict grains, breads, and legumes, and to enjoy vigorous exercise.

Type A ("for agrarian") flourishes on vegetarian diets, "the inheritance of their more settled and less warlike farmer ancestors," says D'Adamo. The type A diet contains soy proteins, grains, and organic vegetables and encourages gentle exercise.

The nomadic blood type B has a tolerant digestive system and can enjoy low-fat dairy, meat, and produce but, among other things, should avoid wheat, corn, and lentils, D'Adamo says. If you're type B, it's recommended you exercise moderately.

The "modern" blood type AB has a sensitive digestive tract and should avoid chicken, beef, and pork but enjoy seafood, tofu, dairy, and most produce. The fitness regimen for ABs is calming exercises.

Another species, N. australeinsis, has been proven to be pathogenic in mice and is useful in laboratory study of Naegleria pathogenesis (De Jonchheere, 2004). While the number of reported cases of N. fowleri infection is small, because of the fatality of PAM (98% death rate), the amoeba and resulting meningoencephalitis are a public health interest.

Blood type diet chart and list #8Varicose Veins Causes, Symptoms and Treatment
Varicose veins are swollen, stretched veins in the legs, close to the surface of the skin, caused by pooling of blood. Varicose veins alone are not too serious, but they may lead to more serious condition, such as skin ulcer, phlebitis (inflammation of a vein), or thrombosis (blood clot formation). Varicose Veins Causes Blood from the legs must return to the heart uphill, against the force of gravity, so the veins in the legs gave one-way valves to prevent blood from flowing back down toward the feet. When pressure on the veins stretches them or when the valves are injured in some way, the valves cannot close properly, and some blood travels back down. This blood accumulates in pools, which stretch the veins even more.
Blood type diet chart and list #9Coronary Artery Disease Treatment Guidelines
It can be difficult to determine whether chest pain is caused by angina. Whenever a person develops symptoms that could be angina, a complete medical evaluation is needed to determine whether coronary artery disease is present and, if so, how severe it is (see also chapter 7). The individual's medical history and descriptions of the pain, actions that cause the pain, and actions that make it better may raise a doctor's suspicion of coronary artery disease, but these factors are not sufficient for actual diagnosis. Likewise, physical examination and blood tests may show that the patient is at risk, but cannot actually diagnose the condition. An electrocardiogram may or may not show changes of cardiac ischemia. An exercise electrocardiogram, a ''stress test'' done while a person is performing a specific amount of exercise, is more likely to demonstrate whether coronary disease is present. A particular change in the electrocardiogram during exercise can demonstrate that coronary artery disease is present. Even an exercise electrocardiogram is not 100 percent reliable in diagnosing coronary artery disease.
Blood type diet chart and list #10Allergy In Children
The importance of an early diagnosis of allergy cannot be overemphasized. This diagnosis should be made in infancy or early childhood. This involves not only recognition that the condition affecting the child is allergic, but also a serious attempt at discovering the cause of the allergy. In doing this, however, one meets frequently with great deal of resistance by the mother because she does not want to see the child hurt, r because she somehow has a vague suspicion that skin testing endangers the child's health. The mother must understand the importance of such an early diagnosis. She must realize that delay is equivalent to neglect, and that neglect needlessly expose the child to the dangers of complications which may result from an untreated allergy a case of hay fever or case of asthma in a child. After a few years, however, this condition becomes complicated by nasal infection or by bronchitis, or by changes in the tissues of the lungs. These changes become refractory to treatment, so that even if the allergy is discovered, treatment of complications becomes difficult if not impossible. The mother must also understand that skin testing, if properly done, is not dangerous and does not affect the child's physical condition.
Blood type diet chart and list #11Birth Control Side Effects Long Terms
Many of the adverse effects of oral contraceptive use reported in the older literature were found subsequently to be dose related. As a result, the incidence of side effects has diminished dramatically as the hormonal content of the pill has plummeted. In the 1960s, the pill had 150 ug of mestranol and 10 mg of progestin, whereas modem low-dose formulations have 20-35 ug of estrogen and 1 mg or less of progestin. Side effects reported to occur with oral contraceptive use include headaches, weight changes, mood changes, changes in libido, vaginal changes, and gastrointestinal problems. A recent double-blinded, placebo-controlled study found that the incidence of side effects with low-dose oral contraceptives was not statistically different from that of the placebo users. The incidence of weight gain, breast tenderness, and headache was essentially the same in each group.
